THE Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes, North Yorkshire, has appointed industry expert Matthew Gribbin as non-executive chairman.
Mr Gribbin has more than a quarter of a century’s experience in the chilled food and dairy sector.
Richard Clarke, who has more than 40 years’ experience in the cheese industry, has been re-appointed director.
He was a founding director of the company following its management buyout in 1992, standing down from the board in 2002.
■ Football fan Vicky Laverick has enjoyed a promotion to business director at WR Financial Management.
Ms Laverick, 29, has become a director of WR Financial Management four years after joining the family firm, based in Stockton. Ms Laverick, who has travelled the world following the England football team, was previously client services manager with the firm, of which her father, Graham, is managing director.
