Recruitment company TechConsult UK Ltd, based at The Wilton Centre, near Redcar, east Cleveland, has taken on MATTHEW ELENER as recruitment consultant.
Mr Elener's previous employment included three-and-a-half years as an engineer with the Merchant Navy.
Managing director Steve Guest said: "A lot of our work is in the marine sector and Matthew's knowledge will be invaluable.
"Because he worked on tankers when in the Merchant Navy, he already understands the way the sector works."
