AN apprentice has been praised for his work.
Nasir Din, an apprentice with ITEC North-East, joined Unitel Direct in January.
The 18-year-old has impressed its director and sales management team so much they have awarded him a letter of appreciation.
As a lead generator, Mr Din makes outbound calls to determine a firm’s utilities contracts with a view to securing savings.
Bernice Allison, senior management consultant, said: “From joining us, Nasir has shown great tenacity and determination to succeed in his job role.
“He has excellent business acumen and goes the extra mile to secure information required to fulfil his job role.
“With continued hard work his career will flourish and he will, in the not too distant future, be promoted to become a qualified utility broker, which is a massive achievement.”
Michelle McGuire, ITEC tutor, added: “I’ve been impressed with Nasir’s standard of work and his product knowledge.”
