A TEESSIDE training company has celebrated the opening of its purpose-built £2.1m training centre.
CableCom has grown from a small private training company to one of the largest private training providers in the North-East, servicing a wide range of clients, from telecommunications and logistics to health and safety. The facility has opened on the Westland Way Development, at Preston Farm, in Stockton.
CableCom also has plans to develop an innovative remote system to its learners which includes Armed Forces personnel deployed on operations.
An expansion of its training and conference facilities on site is expected to follow.
Managing director Tony Horridge said: “We believe we are able to deliver innovative, quality learning programmes that lead to learners gaining nationally-recognised qualifications which lead to employment or job enhancement, create new jobs, new business and boost the local economy so we can all emerge from this recession stronger.”
