T AN energy sector training company passed on its expertise to an Egyptian delegation.

The Middlesbrough-based TTE Technical Training Group welcomed a delegation from the Egyptian Educational Development Foundation, who visited the North East on a fact-finding mission.

During the visit, the delegation, which included the President of Supreme Council for Universities, Professor Mohamed Sheirah, and the General Secretary of the Foundation, Professor Essam El Kordi, toured TTE’s training facilities. TTE has experience of establishing and operating international training facilities having developed a centre in Azerbaijan to train BP technicians .

The organisation also operates a centre in Dubai, delivering vocational training and qualifications to companies across the Middle East.

While in the North-East, the delegation also met staff from Teesside University.
