A YOUNG store manager, who joined his company aged 16, has transformed his branch into the best in the country, only a year after taking over.
David Herbert, 23, retail manager of Greenwoods Menswear in Captain Cook Square, Middlesbrough, was recognised in the chain’s annual awards.
The Middlesbrough store was ranked top of a list of 80 Greenwoods retailers for year-on-year performance.
Mr Herbert, from Elmtree, Stockton, was also named the region’s Manager of the Year.
