AN industrial cleaning company which won Duncan Bannatyne’s backing on TV’s Dragons’ Den has secured a contract with one of Britain’s largest care home providers.

North-East-based UK Commercial Cleaning will provide its services to care homes run by Four Seasons Healthcare, from Birmingham to the Scottish borders.

UK Commercial Cleaning was set up five years ago by Tony Earnshaw in his home town of Washington, Wearside.

He established the business with £300 when he was 19.

The agreement will see the company, which recently received a £100,000 investment from Duncan Bannatyne as part of Dragons’ Den, clean more than 80 homes and specialised care centres across the North of England.

Mr Earnshaw said: “This is an excellent opportunity for the business.

“To have a substantial contract with Four Seasons is allowing us to increase our staff numbers and continue our plans to be the UK’s number one industrial cleaning services provider.”
