A SOCIAL care company started in the North-East in the Fifties has rebranded.
SureCare has become Heritage Healthcare, following a takeover by Glenn Pickersgill, from Darlington, last year.
The business sends almost 100 carers a day into hundreds of homes in Redcar, Skelton, Guisborough and the surrounding villages.
Care of elderly people has been Mr Pickersgill’s family business since the Fifties, when his grandmother opened a care home. In 1970 his parents opened a nursing home, with Mr Pickersgill joining the business in 1985.
Although Mr Pickersgill sold the businesses more than two years ago, he has now returned to provide and develop care services for people in their homes.
