A NORTH-EAST recruitment company will double its turnover this year, buoyed by the flourishing subsea sector.
TechConsult UK Ltd, based at The Wilton Centre, near Redcar, has seen a strong demand for its services in the offshore oil and gas and subsea sectors.
The company, which recorded a turnover of £900,000 last year, has confirmed predictions that its turnover will reach £2m when its financial year finishes at the end of the month.
It is now looking to increase its five-strong staff to help meet demand.
Managing director Steve Guest said: “This year has gone very well for us. It is clear that, for all the economic uncertainty, some sectors continue to perform well and we are benefiting from that.”
