AN award-winning home care brand is now delivering care to the residents of Durham and beyond.

The Chapman family Liz, Tom and Roberta are the proud owners of the Blossom Home Care franchise territory covering most of County Durham and some areas of Teesside from their office in Belmont, Durham.

The Chapmans were all born and raised in County Durham and have worked in the North-East for a number of years, so they know the area well and say they are proud to be part of the Blossom family.

Established by John and registered Nurse Fiona Leggott, Blossom Home Care aims to deliver high-quality home care to adults with home care needs through a minimum 50-minute call, set visit times and key carers who provide individualised care plans.

Electronic records are visible through the feedback system to consented relatives which provides transparent care.

Liz said her marketing company has worked with John and Fiona, since the Blossom brand was launched back in 2015, which has given her a good insight into the business before purchasing the franchise.

Understanding how the home care company operates, teamed with the business and marketing skills, the Chapman family have has helped them in the development of the Blossom Home Care Durham Office.

Liz said: “We believe in what Blossom stands for and the ethos and values behind the care that is delivered that enables the people we care for to remain living in their own home.

“It’s a holistic approach to care that ensures we fully meet their needs. A 50-minute minimum call also means our carers have time to interact with clients and do all the things that really matter to them and us.”

She added: “Our registered manager has over 30-years care experience and we have a great team of carers to deliver just bloomin’ good care to our clients.

Roberta, who worked previously with the charity Cash for Kids, said: “The documentation, software and systems that Blossom have provided are extremely thorough and a huge advantage to the business, so we are well positioned to deliver the bloomin’ good care for which Blossom is renowned.”

Tom said: “We are committed to ensuring that client needs are at the centre of everything we do and to achieving the same high-quality care standards in our territory that have been achieved by Blossom Home Care in other areas over the last five years.”

The company also has branches in Northallerton, Tadcaster and Barnard Castle.
