A POPULAR Cantonese restaurant that has been established in the North-East for 31 years is marking its commitment to its bright future in Consett with a celebration menu for customers.
The Pavilion, which has been on its current site in Iveston, Consett for a quarter of a century, is also planning to train a number of its long-serving staff into management positions, to take the restaurant forward, after it transferred to a new company earlier this year.
Throughout the time it has been established, The Pavilion has been an honest and a responsible business. Prior to the old company name deregistration process in early September, the management team has made sure that all debts to suppliers were paid, and there was also no outstanding HMRC payments.
If the uncertainty about the restaurant’s position has caused distress to any customers, the management and staff of The Pavilion want to reassure them that it is ‘business as usual’, now and in the future, despite the misapprehension that the restaurant was facing difficulties.
Any deposits received towards bookings, and any vouchers issued, will be honoured, and customers can expect the same high standard of food and dining experience as they have received in the past.
The celebration 31st Anniversary Special Menu will be available to both regular and new customers, on October 22 and 23, and booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
The delicious three-course set menu, which costs £25 per person, includes Fountain of Fortune soup, a selection of Delights of the Orient appetisers, and a choice of main courses with rice and complimentary wine, followed by tea or coffee. The usual A la carte menus is also available on these days.
Further planned developments are to introduce a wider choice of set meals on the Pavilion Delight Banquet menu, for groups of between two and six people. For the price of £25.90 per person, you can enjoy a traditional soup to start, followed by two appetisers, a selection of main courses, and tea or coffee to finish.
