AN EXPANDING business has relocated into larger offices to accommodate for its growing team.
Hays recruiters, which have been based in Darlington for more than 15 years, decided a move to a new office in Beaumont Street, in the town centre, as the natural next step for the business.
The office was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Mayor of Darlington, Councillor Veronica Copeland, alongside Catherine Duke, the Hays Darlington office manager and business director.
Laura Kemp, regional director for the North-East and Jackie Mordue, managing director for Hays in Yorkshire and the North, were also present, alongside a number of consultants from Darlington.
Ms Duke, manager at Hays, said: "Having outgrown our previous premises, the new office accommodates our growing team in a fantastic new environment as well as allowing for future growth.
"It was vital for us to pick a location in Darlington town centre to not only support the recruiting needs of the area, but also to support the number of businesses who continue to operate from the town centre and keep the location alive.”
