A PROPERTY preservation company continues to expand after securing a £200,000 local authority contract.
BCS Preservation, based in Darlington, will provide damp proofing and timber treatment for 21,000 homes and commercial properties across North Yorkshire.
The agreement, with Richmondshire District Council, will last an initial four years.
The company has also moved premises as it bids to maintain its growth.
Bosses say the site, on Darlington’s Cleveland Trading Estate, is three times larger than its former Woodland Road base, and offers greater storage facilities.
Aaron Davidson, director and surveyor, said: “This is just the beginning - we are bidding for other large contracts in the North-East, Yorkshire and further afield.
“We are looking forward to expanding our services, growing turnover and adding four new employees to the team over the next few years.”
The business, which has been trading for four years, has also appointed Scott Howell as contracts manager.
