UP to eight jobs could be created with the launch of a furniture company at a multimillion pound business complex.
Three new posts have already been filled at Furniture Traders Ltd, at Concept Business Court, Thirsk Industrial Park.
The recently-opened business sells to the trade and public at discounted prices.
Managing director Steven Wilson said: "We expect national interest from the trade and from the public locally and aim to create a further five jobs during the next few months.
"We were seeking premises near the A19 for easy access to the motorway network and Concept Business Court is ideal. A lot of thought has gone into the units, which are stylish, bright and modern."
Furniture Traders follow Howden Joinery to the business park and will create a further five jobs.
Only one 3,000sq ft unit remains, but a further six twostorey units are to be built.
