PAUL Special gratitude to Baines family members: Joan (cousin), Brian (husband to Joan) and daughter Alison (God-daughter to Margaret) for their kindness and support over these last four difficult weeks. Special thanks to longstanding friends of Margaret: Maureen McLoughlin and Helen Foxen for their concern and company to Margaret whil-st in hospital. Thank you to Regine and Ale-xander for travelling a considerable distance to visit Margaret whil-st in hospital. Thank you to longstanding fr-iends of John Paul: An-drew Fletcher and Si-mon Stephenson (Darl-ington) and Simon Je-ffries (London) for the-ir support and attend-ance of Margaret’s se-rvice. Thank you to Emma, neighbour to Margaret for offering mum friendship over these last few years. Thank you to all those who have paid their respects at the Co-op-erative Funeralcare Chapel of Rest, Darl-ington, offered their condolences, attended Margaret’s service and sent flowers or donations in lieu to Mar-garet’s chosen charity - Guide Dogs for the Blind. Thank you to Andrea Todd and the Co-operative Funeral-care team for arrang-ing a fine service and Reverend William Sims for giving Marg-aret a befitting and dignified service at the West Cemetery Crema-torium Darlington that we can all cherish for years to come. Finally, thank you to mum for being my best friend all of these years – I miss you, always will. Love, John
