DOWSON John (Johnnie) aged 79 years of Copley, died suddenly but peacefully in hospital on October 9. Dearly loved husband of Dorothy, much loved brother to Eric and the late Alec and a dear brother-in-law and uncle. Funeral Service at Saint John's Church, Lynesack on Monday, October 17 at 11.00 a.m., followed by interment in the cemetery. Friends please meet at the Church. Family flowers only please, if desired donations for The Great North Air Ambulance and Miracles to Believe in may be sent care of John Blenkiron and Sons Ltd., Funeral Directors, 100 Galgate, Barnard Castle DL12 8BJ.
