THORNTON David Dearest husband to Sylvia, died peacefully in Darlington Memorial Hospital on 16th January, aged 97 years. Much loved by son Alan, daughter-in-law Janet, grandchildren Alexander, Hazel and Rob, great-grandchildren Elizabeth and Emily, stepsons and daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dearly missed by all. Would family and friends please meet for a service in the Salvation Army Citadel, (Thompson Street East, Darlington) on Tuesday 8th February at 2:00 pm prior to private cremation. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be given at the service or c/o of Whitehouse Funeral Service for St Teresa's Hospice.
