STOBBS Annie (Anne) Carlyse Wife, beloved mother, wonderful grandma and great-grandma passed away peacefully in the early hours of 20th October, 2021 at Manor House, surrounded by family. Anne was predeceased by her husband John and her sons David, Stephen and Kevin whom she adored. Anne will be deeply missed by daughter-in-law Donaline, grandchildren Danielle, Louise, Rachael and Michael and great-grandchildren Finley-Stephen, Edward, Emery, Mia and Norah-Gwyen and her extended family. Anne will be ever so missed and lovingly remembered by her family as a strong and loving woman, who was known for wearing her high heels and loved to dance and sing, and carried a playful nature with her children and grandchildren alike. Celebration of life to be held on Tuesday 2nd November 2021 at 12.15pm at St Mary's Parish Church, Barnard Castle. Followed by the crematorium to be attended by family only. The family would like to welcome everyone to join us at the Fox Hall (on the A66) following the service to continue remembering and celebrating Anne's life. Much like her life and personality, colourful attire is encouraged. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Salvation Army and Church funds.

So sad to hear about Anne. Lovely lady, she would always chat about my grandma and grandad, (Uncle John & Aunty Violet ). Sending her family all my love, Deborah ( Christine Marquiss daughter )

Sad news. Anne was a card. Always remember those high heels and her laughing face. Spent many an day round her house in Marwood Drive .John was Mam's cousin but she always called her Aunty Violet. Our thoughts are with the family .We'll see you in church Anne Love Margaret & Kathryn (Marquiss)
