HINDMARCH 4th October, peacefully in Lindisfarne Care Home, John Allan of Bishop Auckland, formerly Witton Park and Coundon, aged 92 years. Devoted husband of the late Elsie, a loving and much loved dad to Alan and the late Stuart, dear father-in-law to Doreen, a beloved grandad to Justin, Emma, Rebecca and Toby, loving great-grandad to Ruby, Niamh, Felicity, Ziyon and Elizabeth, also a dear uncle and friend to many. A funeral service will be held at the Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon on Monday 18th October at 2-30pm. Family flowers only please donations in memory of John may be left at the crematorium for the R.N.L.I and the Great North Air Ambulance Appeal.
