OXLADE Lilian On April 26, peacefully at Springfield Care Home, Darlington after a long illness, aged 90 years. Beloved wife of Stephen, dearly beloved mother of Gwyneth, Wendie, Kristina and the late David, mother-in-law of Keith, Mark and Wayne, nana to Andrew, Beth and Heather, Nanma to Alexander, Perrie, Christian, Adam and Nadedja, and great-nana Lil to Isabella, Benjamin and Sophia. Much loved and missed by all, including all her many friends in the dancing fraternity. "The voice that loved to laugh is stilled. The soul that loved to dance has passed through the final curtain." Never to be forgotten. Due to current restrictions, a private funeral service will take place in The West Cemetery Chapel on Wednesday May 12, at 2pm. Thanks to all the Springfield staff for their care.
