DOWSON Hilda of Willington, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 16 in Weardale Community Hospital aged 98 years. A much loved wife of the late John. A loving and beloved mother of Anne, Billy and John and a dearly loved mother-in-law of John, Edna and Kate. Also a much loved grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, a dearly loved aunt and a good friend to many. A funeral service will take place at Wear Valley Crematorium, family flowers only please. Due to current restrictions close family only will be in attendance, anyone wishing to pay their last respects may do so as Hilda's funeral cortege leaves her residence in Willington at 1:05pm on Wednesday April 28. 'Truly, she was one in million!'
