MARCHANT Captain Ernest Hedley Marchant 2nd Bn Scots Guards, peacefully passed away, Annan Community Hospital on Thursday, October 22, devoted husband of Marie, proud father to Dawn, Russell, Neil and Deborah, loving grandfather, great- grandfather, great-great-grandfather, and loved brother to Maud, Eileen, John and Margaret. Ernie. A Langley Moor man, travelled the world but a large part of his big heart always remained in Durham.
