CHATER Terence Waugh Died on October 19, 2020 in his 87th year. Terry was pre-deceased by his wife Betty. Brother of Keith (Sonia), Uncle of Corin (Athena) and Great Uncle of Kadun and Tenzin all in Canada. Very dear friend of Louise and Joan and known to scores of Scottish Country Dancers of all ages throughout North Eastern England. We are thankful he is now at peace. Our gratitude and thanks to Mary and all the staff at Darlington Manor Care Home. Due to current circumstances, a private funeral service will take place at Darlington Crematorium on Tuesday 3rd November at 3.45pm Donations in lieu of flowers for The British Heart Foundation https://giftofhope.bhf.org.uk/In-Memory/Terry-Chater or The Alzheimer's Society https://terrychater.muchloved.com/ alternatively cheques (payable to the charity) may be sent c/o 3 Oakdene Avenue, Darlington DL3 7HR

So sad to hear this news. Terry was a great Scottish Country Dance teacher and I will always remember him and Betty taking us to socials up and down the north east. His enthusiasm was second to none he will be sadly missed. RIP Terry reunited with Betty.
