DENT Bernie, aged 69 years of Staindrop, passed away peacefully in hospital on September 15, after a long illness borne with great courage and dignity. Dearly loved husband of Carole, much loved dad of Jaqueline, Michael and Nicola, devoted granda of Callum, Luke, William and Ollie and loving brother of Margaret and Alan. A private service will take place at The Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon on Friday September 25, at 10.30am. Bernie's cortege will travel through Staindrop at around 9.45am for anyone wishing to pay their respects. Donations in lieu of flowers if desired may be sent directly to the North East Kidney Patients Association.
