HARDY Mick Michael Robert, died peacefully at home on May 21, aged 70 years. Devoted husband to Shirley, loving father to Ian, Andrew and little Mike, adored grandad of Ella, Callum and Kayden, Amelia, Lucas and Willow. Lifelong foster parents to many, and much loved friend to us all. Due to current restrictions, a private family cremation will take place on Friday, June 12. Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu of flowers to the NSPCC, to reflect their endless commitment to foster care in Darlington. For neighbours and friends who wish to say goodbye to Mick, He will be coming home at approx. 2.30 pm. You are welcome, if you wish to do so, to come and leave a single stem of a Yellow flower (Mick' favourite colour), which will go with Mick on his final journey with his family at 3pm.
