GILCHRIST (Shadforth) On November 14, peacefully at home, William Edwin aged 77 years. Beloved husband of Freda, dear dad of Alan and David, much loved grandad of Melissa, also a sadly missed uncle of Julie. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday November 27, would family and friends please meet at St Cuthberts Church Shadforth at 2.00pm prior to private cremation. Family flowers only please, donations may be given after the service to Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Cancer Research UK.
