                There will be a play off to decide the runners up behind champions, Coundon Miners A after Henknowle Manor and the Voltigeur, who both started equal and recorded seven point victories in their final matches, will face each other for second place award.

                The Miners also face a play off against the Sports Bar to decide the destination of the league doubles shield. However the Miners took the Captains’ Shield with the Manor in second place.

                The prestigious Player of the Year for most singles wins throughout the season went to Peter Mernor of the Manor, who won two in his final match to edge ahead of his nearest rivals.

                Tow Law New Market were taken to the deciding captains’ game before they left Elm Road with a victory. The Shildon team had one point each from Lee Gardiner, Andrew Tennant, Darren Fodden, Paul Fodden and George Bainbridge with the visitors levelling with wins from Steven Webb, David Murray, Craig Hardy, Steven Burke and Shaun Umpelby. Murray and Burke won the doubles to put the Market ahead by Lee Gardiner won the first captains’ game to equalise. In the decider Webb beat Gardiner.

                Trimdon Dovecote A completed the League and Knock Out Cup double when they beat Kelloe Club by five frames to three.

                The outstanding match to complete the league season proved to be a five point home win for the Freemasons A over the Miners Arms. This victory lifted the winners into equal third place in the Second Division.
