JOHN JACKSON Memorial Trophy Semi Final

Hardwick Social Club progressed to the final of the John Jackson Memorial Trophy with a 4-1 home win against Thornaby Meerkats with two goals from Kallum Hannah and one each for Stephen Roberts and James Risborough, Peter Barnes replied for Thornaby Meerkats they will now meet South Bank in the final.

Premier Division

In the Premier Division Thornaby Village had a narrow 1-0 win against George & Dragon (Yarm) with the only goal of the game scored by Jamie May.  The other fixture in this division was Billingham Cons against South Bank but South Bank were unable to raise a team for the fixture.

In midweek in the Premier Division Hardwick Social beat Norton WMC 6-1 with two goals for Craig Allan and Kallum Hannah and one apiece for James Risborough and Billy Gatenby, Lee Jordan replied for Norton WMC.

Division Two

In Division Two Norton Red Lion extended their lead at the top of the table with a 4-0 win against St Marys College with goals from Scott Ford, Matthew Watson, Josh Dowsland and Christian Selby, this win secured the division two title for the Red Lion in their first season in the league.  Elsewhere Thornaby Aerodrome Club secured a 3-1 win at home to Eaglescliffe Bazookas with two goals from substitute Daniel Pearce and one goal for Arron Butta

Division One

In Division One Hartburn and Storytellers United met for the second time in a week and this time it was Storytellers United who came out on top by the odd goal in five, goals from Matthew Buckley (2) and Carl Evans set up the win, Jamie Roberts scored both goals for Hartburn.  Layfield Arms entertained Billingham The Merlin in their final fixture of the season but it was the visitors who emerged as victors with a 3-0 win thanks to goals from Marcus Liddle, John Lennon and Michael Young.

Norton Trophy

In the Norton Trophy Billingham The Kings progressed to the next round with a 2-0 home win against Thornaby Roundel with goals from John Smith and Michael Doyle.  Village Park Rangers also progressed with a hard fought 4-3 win against Thornaby Sports & Leisure with a hat-trick from Robert Edemenson and one from substitute Jason Elgie, for Thornaby Sports & Leisure Daniel Bennett, Joe Cox and James Walton scored.  Stockton Hardwick progressed with a 3-1 win against premiership The Royal thanks to goals from Liam Westoby, David Higgins and Dale Evans, Paul Cleary replied for The Royal, Stockton Hardwick now meet Village Park Rangers in the quarter finals.  Blytheholme also made the quarter final with a 4-2 home win against Eaglescliffe with goals from Daniel McLay, Craig Wetherill, Kieran Nugent and Callum Foster, for Eaglescliffe Gareth Watkinson and Sam Wilson scored.  Blytheholme are away to Billingham The Kings in the quarter finals.  Both North Ormesby Cons and Billingham The Merlin are already through to the semi finals and await the winners of the two quarter final ties.

North Riding Sunday County Cup

In the North Riding Sunday County Cup Thornaby Meerkats lost 7-0 to Trafalgar of Scarborough last Thursday at Stokesley
