MIDDLESTONE MOOR Masons Arms defeafeated DSRM 2-1 to set up a Good Friday Norman Wright cup final against Bowes or Witton Park. DSRM had the better of the opening exchanges and took the lead through Aaron Denham. Masons scrambled second half equaliser could well have been an own goal but their comeback was complete when Lee Newby slotted home a spot kick twenty minutes from time.

Shildon Railway opened up a two point lead in division one with a 2-1 win at Heighington. The home side led through David Tedder but Morgan Claydon and Tom Robinson earned Railway the points.

Wear Valley had to be content with a share of the spoils at Coundon WMC. Aaron Bloomfield put the Valley ahead but Coundon turned the game round through Paul Thompson and Liam Woodfine. Shane Wright made it 2-2 five minutes from time.

A brace from Simon Taylor saw Willington WMC lead Witton Park 2-1 at half time. The second half saw an improved display from the visitors and Dean Thexton (2), Tom Callaghan, Ben Trotter and an own goal earned a 5-2 victory.

A first half hat trick from Tommy Hutchinson set up a 6-1 victory for Bowes at Darlington Burns. Two second half goals took Hutchinson's tally to five and Wayne Thwaites completed Bowes half dozen. Rob Moncur replied.

The shock of the day came in division two where second bottom Hole in the Wall gained an excellent 5-3 victory over West Auckland WMC. John Shields (2), Tom McGee, Grant Rankine and Dan Wrigley scored for the winners with Callum Tallentire (2) and Brian Denham responding for West who would have gone top with a win.

Bishop Hogans remain well in contention following a 4-2 defeat of Stanhope SSC. Ben Hopkinson (3) and Simon Carney saw Hogans lead 4-0 at the interval. Johnny Storey pulled a couple back for Stanhope in a much improved second half display.

After a goal less first half Sam Green and Wayne Kennedy opened up a two goal cushion for Crook Albion at home to Wearhead United. Dylan Stephenson reduced the arrears but Albion added a late third through Rob Clarey.

Crook Wanderers returned to winning form in coming from behind to beat Staindrop Castle Rangers 3-1. Adam Stockton gave Rangers a first minute lead but Wanderers bounced back to go in at half time 3-1 up through Michael Varney (2) and Steven Faigrieve.

Evenwood Town led 2-0 at Alston Moor thanks to a brace from Stephen Brunskill. Adam Walton reduced the deficit and a screamer from Joe Murgatroyd ten minutes from time salvaged a point for Alston.
