Second Division leaders Stockton Town crushed Crook Town on their 3G surface by 7-0, their tenth successive win.

Chris Dunwell put them in front with a header on 4 minutes, then Max Craggs curled a free kick home for the equaliser, his tenth since he returned to the club two months ago Kallum Hannah scored his 20th league goal of the season from the spot just on half time after a foul on Kevin Hayes, then the Crook keeper spilled a shot from Joe Posthill allowing Joe Scaife-Wheatley to tap in the fourth. Sonni Coleman headed the fifth from close range. Coleman made it 6-0 with another from a few yards, and in the last minute Posthill stabbed in the seventh.

Stockton Town manager Micky Dunwell said; “We’ve had problems against teams in the bottom half of the table this season, but the lads played well throughout the game. Our third goal killed them off.”

Northallerton lost 3-2 at home to Blyth Town, who took an early lead through Liam Gilhespy. Ian Herron made it 2-0 from long distance, before Stuart Owen fired into the top corner and pull one back.

Sub Mark Sims rounded the keeper for the equaliser, but Blyth won it when Zak Atkinson fired in from a Gilhespey assist.

Northallerton manager Darren Trotter said; “We’re obviously disappointed with the result, again we didn’t perform in the first half. We were much better in the second half and put Blyth on the back foot and deservedly got back level.

“We showed lots of character and a hunger to win the game but leaving the back door open when not taking our chances is costing us valuable points.”

All other games in the league were postponed.
