The Northern League have today announced a new £200,000 sponsorship deal with local firm EBAC.
League chairman Mike Amos surprised delegates at the AGM with the news that previous sponsor STL have discontinued their sponsorship, and instead EBAC, owned by Newton Aycliffe businessman John Elliott, have signed a five year, £200,000 deal.
"We are very much looking forward to his sponsorship," said Amos.
"John is very much an ideas and hands-on man, and is also incredibly kind.
"His heart is in County Durham, and he loves his Northern League football. He has made an enormously generous gesture."
