West Auckland and Dunston expect to start selling tickets next week for their big day out at Wembley in the FA Carlsberg Vase final on May 13th.

The two clubs met FA officials yesterday at Wembley to discuss arrangements for the big day, and both will be given an initial batch of tickets to sell themselves at the end of next week.

West Auckland general manager Stuart Alderson said: "As soon as the tickets arrive next week, we'll be putting them on general sale at home matches, at the clubhouse and through committee members. We have also been given an opportunity to sell hospitality packages, executive boxes and royal box seats, and we'll be announcing details of those soon.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for people in the north to go to Wembley and see two Northern League teams in action. There will never be another day like it. Going by the interest shown already, we expect to sell several thousand, especially to other clubs near us." Appropriately, West supporters will be in the west side of the ground -- the left of the main stand when watching on television. Dunston, therefore, will be using the same dressing rooms that Whitley Bay have used in the last three years when they have won the competition.

West will be wearing a predominantly white strip for the game with plenty of potential for sponsorship on the shirts and shorts. "Our sponsors can expect some calls in the next few days from me!" he said.

Tickets for the game are £25 each, with concessions at half price.
