Easington’s new manager, Mark Proudlock, will sit in the stands for their away game at Northallerton while caretaker manager Steve Riley picks the team. Northallerton are hoping to include a new signing, while striker Colin Anderson and midfielder Gary Cook are expected to be fit.

Leaders Team Northumbria are hoping to complete the transfer of striker Jonny Redhead from West Allotment in time for the game at his old club, while Jack Palmer and captain Gavin Donoghue both return. Allotment, who are third, are without defender Roy Gordon and striker Chris Rue Seaham Red Star, who are at home to Washington, welcome back midfielder Michael McKeown after missing the midweek draw at Whickham because of injury. Defender Richie Goodman could keep his place in defence, while youngster Calvin Gowland could also return from injury. Washington include new signing Owen Peterson, who has moved from Birtley.

Birtley, who are in fourth place, are at Horden. Midfielder Kev Dixon and keeper Andy Hunter both return for Scott Oliver’s side, who haven’t lost in eight league and cup games. Horden pair Greg Rutherford and Calum Wilson have both returned to Hartlepool at the end of their loan spell, while Jack Honour is on County duty. Stephen Jackson and Lloyd Evans will both return, Third bottom Chester-le-Street, who have won their last three matches, are at home to Crook Town, and manager Anth Smith adds defender Jordan Fraser to his squad, while there will be a fitness test for striker Glenn Reay. Crook add striker Andy Appleby to their squad after he missed last week’s Vase tie, but midfielder Chris Wallace is suspended.

North Shields are hoping to stretch their unbeaten run in the league to eleven matches at home to bottom club Whitehaven, and manager Anthony Woodhouse expects to choose from virtually a full strength squad, except for James Luccock, who is injured.

Thornaby, who are seventh, are at home to Ryton and are without keeper Chris Davidson, so Paddy Pisani replaces him. Midfielder Liam Woodhouse and strikers Lee Flanagan and Ian Bishop are also added to the squad.

Gillford Park are at home to Morpeth, and they will give a home debut to striker Simon Tucker, who scored at Northallerton in midweek.

In the other game Alnwick are at home to Brandon – the two teams played each other in the EA Cup on Thursday night.
