CHANCEL MBEMBA and Henri Saivet return to Newcastle United's starting line-up for this afternoon's FA Cup fourth-round tie at Chelsea.

Rafael Benitez has made five changes to the team that started last weekend's league defeat at Manchester City, with Mbemba set to line up as part of a five-man defence that will also feature the recalled Massadio Haidara.

Saivet is also promoted to the starting XI, and is set to make only his third start of the season. He scored as he started in December's 3-2 win at West Ham, and his most recent outing saw him come off the bench in the FA Cup third-round win over Luton Town.

Matt Ritchie and Dwight Gayle have also been restored to the starting line-up, with the former expected to play just behind the latter.

The five players to drop out of the side that started at the Etihad Stadium are Paul Dummett, Christian Atsu, Mo Diame, Jacob Murphy and Joselu.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is without Thibaut Courtois and Alvaro Morata, but the Italian has still named a strong side featuring the likes of Pedro and Eden Hazard.
