ISAAC HAYDEN will start at centre-half as Newcastle United look to claim the Championship title when they line up against Barnsley this lunch-time.

With Jamaal Lascelles and Ciaran Clark both unavailable for the final game of the season, Hayden will start alongside Chancel Mbemba at the heart of the back four.

With Hayden moving out of his usual midfield position, Jack Colback will play alongside Jonjo Shelvey in the central area.

Ayoze Perez has got the nod in the 'number ten' role ahead of Mo Diame, with Aleksandar Mitrovic lining up as a lone striker.

Leading scorer Dwight Gayle is back on the bench after missing a large chunk of the second half of the season with a hamstring injury.

Newcastle kick off this afternoon's game a point behind league leaders Brighton, so will claim the title if they better the Seagulls' result at Aston Villa.
