GOOD NIGHT: Jonjo Shelvey and Dwight Gayle celebrate Newcastle's 2-0 win at Barnsley
NEWCASTLE UNITED moved to the top of the Championship table for the first time this season last night courtesy of a 2-0 win at Barnsley.
Dwight Gayle's double took him to 11 league goals for the season, and enabled Newcastle to leapfrog Norwich at the top of the table.
