COVENTRY CITY striker Lukas Jutkiewicz has emerged as a target of Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray.

Mowbray has been looking for a striker to bolster his attacking options and is now believed to be tracking Jutkiewicz, who scored Coventry's equaliser at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday.

The 22-year-old is one of a number of forward players being looked at by the Boro boss, including Ipswich's Jason Scotland.

The cash-strapped Sky Blues are keen to keep a hold of their highest-profile striker, but sources close to the club believe they would find it hard to resist an offer in excess of £1million for his services.
