DIEGO COSTA and Eden Hazard have both been passed fit to start for Chelsea when they travel to Middlesbrough on Sunday afternoon.
Costa was withdrawn from the Spain squad for Tuesday’s friendly with England after suffering a groin problem in training over the weekend.
However, he has made good progress since returning to Chelsea’s Cobham training base and Blues boss Antonio Conte is confident he will be available to line up at the Riverside this weekend.
The same applies to Hazard, who was taken off as a precaution as Belgium cruised to an 8-1 World Cup qualifying victory over Estonia.
The midfielder, who boasts seven Premier League goals this season, had suffered a knock, but he is already back in full training and will be named in Conte’s starting line-up in two days’ time.
Middlesbrough can recall Gaston Ramirez following his one-match suspension, but George Friend is an injury doubt after suffering a knock in training.
