VICTOR VALDES is at the Keepmoat Stadium but will not make his first Middlesbrough appearance at Doncaster.

The former Barcelona goalkeeper will be watching from the sidelines as Tomas Mejias starts in goal this afternoon, with Dimi Konstantopoulos expected to play the second half.

Summer signing from Ajax, Viktor Fischer, will make an appearance after the restart too for the first time. Ben Gibson does figure from the first whistle after missing last weekend’s win at York City.

Middlesbrough tied up a deal for Spanish full-back Antonio Barragan yesterday from Valencia but he has not been included, while Marten de Roon will play some part too for the second game in a row.
