MIDDLESBROUGH have completed the signing of Kike Sola on loan until the end of the season.
The former Spain Under-21s striker has moved from Athletic Bilbao and provides competition for the striker role for David Nugent and Kike.
Kike Sola trained with Boro before making the long trip to Bristol City ahead of Saturday’s game at Ashton Gate.
The 29-year-old has played ten times for Bilbao this season and has had a previous spell with Osasuna.
Aitor Karanka, the Middlesbrough head coach, is looking for further additions before the transfer window closes and is considering players at home and abroad. Southampton’s Gaston Ramirez is the latest name to have been linked with the club.
