HARTLEPOOL UNITED made it three wins from three with a solid 1-0 home win over Dagenham.
Following a sticky start to the season, six games without a win, Pools have found their form in the National League.
Jon Franks scored the winner, his third goal in as many games, as Pools saw off the leaders.
Pools keeper Scott Loach was busy early on.
He kept low an angled effort from Morgan Ferrier, then went to his left to paw away a close-range Kevin Lokko.
Pools responded with a power header from Keith Watson which rattled the crossbar.
Dangerman Ferrier was in on goal, but Loach performed wonders to keep out his shot one-handed.
Harrison’s side were getting more of a foothold, but needed some firm defending from Keith Watson to divert a Lokko shot over the bar.
And Pools took the lead on 75 minutes. Woods split the defence for Franks and as Cousins raced way off his line, the attacker lifted the ball high over the keeper and it eventually dropped into the net.
It was his third goal in as many games.
Loach kept out a goalbound Lokko header and in added time, Sunderland loan defender Michael Ledger blocked a goalbound Lokko shot.
