SCOTT Fenwick has signed a one-year deal, with a further 12-months option, with York City after his release from Hartlepool United.
The striker was not offered new terms at Victoria Park at the end of last season and will play in the National League next season.
Fenwick netted six times in his debut season in professional football after moving to Pools from Dunston in October 2014. He scored on his first start, against York in a 3-1 home defeat.
His final goal that season came in the win over Exeter - victory which secured Pools' Football League future as the Great Escape was completed.
Last season he found opportunities limited, as he mainly played in a front three, scoring six times before falling out of the first-team picture and having a brief loan spell at Tranmere Rovers.
