TREVOR CARSON has signed a new, improved contract at Hartlepool United and takes his place in the side to face York City at Victoria Park.
After Adam Bartlett and Lewis Hawkins signed new deals yesterday, Carson is the latest to follow suit.
Pools make three changes to the side today - Matthew Bates, Jake Carroll and Nathan Thomas are in, with Jake Gray and Rob Jones rested as Rhys Oates drops to the bench.
There's also a subs spot for Jack Blackford, the highly-rated 17 year old attacker who was yesterday offered a first professional deal.
