RONNIE MOORE has completed summer signing number five, with the arrival of Jake Carroll.

The left-back was released by Huddersfield at the end of last season after spending two years at the club. He cost The Terriers around 150,000 euros when signed by boss Mark Robins.

He moved to Yorkshire from St Patrick’s Athletic in 2013 and has had loan spells at Bury and Partick Thistle.

Carroll, who has represented Ireland at junior level, played six times for the Terriers, six for Bury and ten times for Partick.

Carroll follows Rhys Oates, Harry Worley, Carl Magnay and Rakish Bingham in joining Pools in recent weeks.
