HARTLEPOOL UNITED (4-4-2):
7 Flinders: A second clean sheet in three home games – made a fine late important save to keep out a goalbound header;
6 Duckworth: Rugged and determined throughout, timed his forward runs well and added to the attacks at the right moments when Pools pressed
8: Mirfin: A real calming presence in the middle of the back four. Read the game superbly and worked well with Harrison
7 Harrison: Some firm headers and clearances in the middle, strong again and defended with a determined nature
6 Austin: Some uneasy first-half moments, but played his part second period in keeping out the visitors;
6 Franks: Worked away, had the odd opening on the left without really standing out
7 Woods: Really came into the game in the second-half, started to get on the ball and make things happen with his movement
6 Tshibola: Roamed around and offered protection and a natural ability to keep the ball and use it simply
8 COMPTON: Out of favour and then comes in and produces his best display of the season;
7 Harewood: Some rampaging second-half runs in a determined show of power and strength – although he should have scored twice
6 Morgan: Gave plenty of effort, took his goal well, but naturally tired with his lack of match time this season.
