THE Toolstation League have confirmed that Melksham Town will join Calne Town in the First Division next season.
The Conigre side, who finished second bottom of the Premier Division with Calne bottom, were waiting to hear whether they would be reprieved by reorganisation elsewhere.
But after a Toolstation League board meeting this week, a statement revealed "that promotion and relegation throughout the league would operate within the rules.''
The statement added: "Therefore Melksham Town and Calne Town will be relegated to the First Division and Wells City and Odd Down will be promoted to the Premier Division.
"Minehead will be relegated from the First Division and it is understood that they will gain a place in Somerset Senior League.
"In addition (Premier Division champions) Bideford have achieved the necessary league placing and ground grading to be promoted to Step Four of the Pyramid and await a decision of the Leagues' Committee at the FA.
"There are no clubs eligible for promotion into the League.''
