DARLINGTON supporters have chosen the kits to be worn by their team next season.
An online poll launched last week featured four options for the home shirt and two for the away.
A hooped design won favour with the fans, attracting almost half of the 512 votes cast for the home shirt.
Result: Option one: 240; Option two: 195; Option three: 49; Option four: 28.
Hoops, used in the current season’s shirt, has become the design many Quakers fans identify with their team, the style having been used consistently since 2004 and sporadically before then.
Next season’s away kit will be claret in colour having received 295 votes, with the red option voted by 193 fans.
The choice of claret for the change kit is Darlington’s fifth different colour of away strip in as many seasons.
In the 2013-14 campaign they wore pink shirts, green the following season, red in 2015-16 before opting for purple this time around.
