ROB DINWIDDIE suffered huge frustration in his final round in Sweden and ended up slipping right out of contention for a fantastic finish.
The Barnard Castle pro had started the final day in a strong position on one-under par after recovering from Thursday’s 77 by shooting 67 and 70 in the next two rounds at the Nordea Masters in Stockholm.
But Dinwiddie’s Sunday was far from super and he carded an 11-over 83 to finish with a nine over par total. He bogeyed the first three holes and posted a further four, as well as a double bogey and triple bogey on the back nine.
Hexham’s Chris Paisley was a shot better off and York’s Simon Dyson finished two shots further back on 11 over. Hartlepool’s Graeme Storm missed the cut.
