GORDON Shedden grabbed the lead back in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship after victory in race two at Croft.
The Scotsman had been knocked off top spot by Honda teammate Matt Neal after the first race at a bright but windswept circuit.
But he held off all-comers to secure first, his sixth victory of the season.
Neal nursed his car home second after suffering a misfire and then an oil pressure warning, while there was a great third place for Rob Austin in the BMW, his first podium of 2012.
Jason Plato, in the MG, had started at the back of the grid following a technical problem in race one, but showed trademark battling qualities to come seventh.
