IF Hartlepool United sell 5,000 season tickets - adult prices are £155 - before Tuesday, July 31, then a draw, with a first prize of £15,000 will take place.

Second prize is £3,000, with a third award of £2,000.

However, the £15,000 will only be up for grabs if that sales figure is achieved.

A prize of £10,000 will be on offer if 4,000 are sold, with £5,000 up for grabs if 3,000 season tickets are bought.

All children's tickets (£50 for under-13s, the equivalent of £2.17 per game) will enter a separate draw with 23 winners picked for a VIP match-day mascot package, which includes a Pools shirt.

Student prices are £155 (£6.74 a game) and OAP tickets are £125 (£5.43), with under-19s £75 (£3.26).

To guarantee the same seat, tickets need to be bought by 4pm on June 1.

Matchday prices will remain the same at £25.

Pools chief executive Russ Green said: "We were determined to keep football affordable. And as well as that we wanted to do something unique but also reward all of our loyal fans who backed us so brilliantly last summer.

"We think the pricing scheme we have come up with represents great value for all, and the potential for a huge cash prize at the end of it is something we hope will really excite everyone.

"IOR have brought some real stability to the club and invested in the ground, the team and supporters. Over the last 15 years we have all been on a fantastic journey.

"The owners realise that we have to be united in our quest to progress and move on a level and we need the support of the fans.''

Tickets are on sale from Victoria Park on Monday, April 9 from 10am.
